July 2011 - We have located an area where the sharks are thick...only seeing a few tarpon recently. Several sharks caught by Sean, David, Nikie - then a bluefish with other recent sights including a trademark forgetten coast sunset from the water!

Staying on the River with Nikie's Step Father - July 2011. This unique area has white squirrels and rolling black water that feeds the fertile bay on the Forgotten coast just South of Tallahassee. It's great to be back!

Eight Tarpon Jumped - None landed. I remain a failure at landing tarpon but on the flip-side have realized I am a consistently proven Sailcat angler - plus I made some great memories with my family so its all good! Wes Lancaster remarked upon first site of a wild tarpon "they do not even look real....they look like a dream" I replied that's why we chase them!
